We are thrilled every year to have this important part of our HATS family join us for work, fun and laughter. We are never disappointed in our family members who live in Texas.
This year’s team consisted of adults who are regulars – David, Brooks, Julie, Milford, and Kyle plus three younger ones who came for their first time, Ti David, Ti Kyle and Ti Julie. A lot of work was accomplished, a lot of interaction and fun time with the children happened, plus some good chats and laughter between Team Texas and us three Canadians. Laughter is good for the soul and it is especially good for me. Accomplishing things on a ‘to do’ list have importance but are not near as valuable to me as encouragement, prayer and laughter.

Thank you so very much for coming, for doing, and for spending precious and valuable time with us. We are already talking about next year’s return.
Brooks, you’d best study your Newfie vocabulary before your next trip. An exam will be waiting for you. Brooks me son – me nerves is rubbed right raw.
