Our Children (2022-2023)
Anne
Anne is 12 years old and going into grade 7 in September. In school, she loves Social Studies. In her free time, she loves to play cards like Uno. She would like to become a seamstress when she is grown.
Dickieson
Dickieson is 7 years old and he’ll be in grade 3 in September. In school, he likes mathematics. For fun, he loves to play with Lego. He doesn’t yet know what he wants to be when he grows up.
Dieunel
Dieunel is 16 years old. He was in grade 9 this past year and is now waiting for the results of his government exams to hopefully move on to grade 10. In school, he likes history and for fun, he loves to play soccer. In the future, he hopes to become a teacher.
Sandra
Sandra is 11 years old and she’s going into grade 6 this year. She loves history in school. For fun, she likes playing with dolls. She wants to be a nurse when she grows up.
Jofky
Jofky is 13 years old and he’s going into Grade 7 this year. At school, he loves mathematics. For fun, he loves playing with Lego. He would like to become an engineer when he grows up.
Jonathan
Jonathan is 11 years old. He’s going into grade five this year. In school, he likes geography. For fun, he loves playing with little cars. When he grows up, he wants to be a teacher.
Josie
Josethanie (Josie) is 16 years old and she’s going into grade 7 this year. She likes grammar at school. For fun, she loves jump rope. She wants to be a nurse when she grows up.
Judel
Judel is 15 years old and he’s going in grade 9 in September. He likes algebra at school. For fun, he loves playing soccer. When he grows up, he wants to become a plumber.
Karena
Karena is 14 years old and she’s going into grade 8 this year. At school, she likes algebra. For fun, she likes to play cards. She wants to be a nurse when she grows up.
Leica
Leica is 17 years old. She was in grade 9 this past year and is now waiting for the results of her government exams to hopefully move on to grade 10. In school, she likes English. For fun, she loves to play soccer and hockey. She wants to study nursing after high school.
Luc
Luc here in Canada, is doing his second last year of high school, grade 11 and continues to do very well in school. He thrives on being involved in his beloved sport of soccer. He is now 5’10” and a very strong young man. He works out at home and at the local gym.
Magdala
Magdala is 8 years old and she’s going to be in Grade 3 this year. She likes school and is working hard at her learning. For fun, she loves playing with dolls.
Markenson
Markenson is 11 years old and he’ll be in grade 5 in September. In school, he likes mathematics. For fun, he loves to build little houses. He wants to be an engineer when he is grown up.
Moise
Moïse is 19 years old and he’ll be doing his last year of secondary in September (grade 13). In school, he likes social studies. For fun, he loves to play soccer. He hopes to be an engineer when he is grown.
Jean-Jacques
JJ is our oldest, and he is competitive and smart. He is helpful with, and a good protector of, the little ones. JJ is currently teaching history in our school (IMKH). We are very proud of him.
