Video of Ti Luc Walking

March 12, 2010 Posted by Liette Wilson 4 Comments

For those of you who don’t know, Ti Luc came to Hands Across the Sea as a tiny premature baby. The doctors did not expect him to live, then stated that he would be little more than a vegetable.

While it is true that Ti Luc is handicapped (we suspect he has cerebral palsy), everyone who meets him realizes that he is a bright, intelligent boy! His brain is fantastic, but there seems to be some miscommunication between his brain and his motor skills. With sheer determination and a never-quit attitude, Ti Luc has learned to walk! The look of enormous pride on his face at the end of the video is worth a thousand words – I hope you enjoy it as much I did.

~Liette
