Thank You for a Wonderful, Memorable Week!

Thank You for a Wonderful, Memorable Week!

March 23, 2017 Posted by Karen Huxter 2 Comments

Thank you Nicki and Mike.

Thank you for returning to us and for bringing Frank, Deborah and Ashley. We enjoyed having them with us. Thank you very much to all of you for all the work, walks, and fun. It was indeed a wonderful and memorable week.

Nicki and Mike your arrival was very exciting. Your leaving was very sad. I think you have been shown how much the children would like to have you return for an even longer time period than the last time. It truly felt to all of us as if you had returned ‘home’. You have shown love in the past and the children remembered that and in turn showed you on your first day back that they hoped you were staying. You could not take any of them with you but I promise we will take good care of them until your return.

It was lovely to be able to have one last morning of devotions with you, with the children as well, before having to say Bye.

Frank, Deborah and Ashley it was lovely to have you here. Thank you for making the decision to leave your families behind for a week and coming with Nicki and Mike to help out wherever needed, whenever needed. Thank you for working hard. Thank you for accepting all of us here at HATS and for playing with, and walking with, the children.

A lot of work was completed in a short time period by the five of you, and the children received a lot of attention and affection. These things go together down here, which makes for healthy children.

A time to come. A time to leave.

A time to come. A time to leave.

May God bless and keep all of you in his care. Until we meet again.

Thanks Mike and Nicki and Friends. Glad you took time out to help at HATS. No matter how long you stay the leaving is always hard.
