HATS-Haiti’s school IMKH is very active. Our school started again in August, but not for the new school year 2020-2021. The Haitian government decided, due to the closure caused by Covid-19, that first some work must be done to complete the year 2019-2020. The students will receive their report cards this coming week. Registration for the 2020-2021 year’s schooling, along with a great deal of preparation for this next year, is now underway. School classes will start again in a couple of weeks.
The grade 9 students and the graduating class, grade 13, of the ‘just completed year’, must write the governmental exams this week and next. My eldest child at HATS, JJ (Jean Jacques) will be writing his government exams for his grade 13 and graduation. Upwards and onwards for this fine outstanding young man. This mama is proud of her big boy.
Thank you very much to all sponsors of a student/students at our school, IMKH, at our mission HATS-Haiti. If you are already helping a student with their education as a sponsor you are playing a very important role in the life of the student and their family. If you have forgotten to donate for your student for the 2020-2021 school year, it would be very helpful if you could do so. Thank you.
If you are not yet a sponsor and can see your way to helping educate an elementary or secondary student in need, I encourage you to do so. All sponsoring information is on our website – www.hatshaiti.org. If you have questions you many contact me at hats.haiti@gmail.com.
Thank you for your loving support for the students at our mission school. May God bless you as you are a blessing to your student and family.
Love,
Karen
